Drew Darcy is an Artist/Singer/Songwriter from the UK. With a number of International dance singles now under his belt and his role as lead singer in Envy Of Saints, he is also embarking on a new vocal, rock/pop guitar sound, with producer Mario Guertler from SPA-Audio Studios Germany. With soaring vocal melodies over spacey guitars, Drew has taken influence from bands like U2, Echo And The Bunnymen, The Killers, and Mona. His vocal ranges somewhere between Bruce Springsteen and Bono, adding his own unique nuances and bringing it to a new audience.
Drew's journey into music began from playing guitar as a teenager. He joined his first band at Bournville Art College in his home town, Birmingham, but it wasn't until a few years later Drew found his voice as a singer. Having combined a career as a published figurative painter and singer/songwriter, he continues to knock down the doors to get to the music elite. Backed by a team of producers: Christophe Chantzis, Erik Vanspauwen, Lenny B, Etienne Overdijk, Michael Fall and Mario Guertler (to name but a few). Drew has been co-writing material from a wide spectrum of genres, working with established songwriters and artists from round the world. |
